PRE-CONFERENCE SESSIONS

- Personal Development: Building a Narrative, Persuasive Presentation, Feedback (Communication Training)

- All leaders need to know how to build a cohesive and compelling narrative that is persuasive, as well as one that allows for feedback and innovation—both of which are critical to any collaborative process. In this 4-hour training, participants will explore tools to help them more effectively communicate and collaborate. They will learn how to sharpen their skills of persuasion by employing evidence and strategies on moving an audience from one point to the next, gaining trust and buy-in through the presentation of a cohesive narrative
- Managing Personality and Conflict
- 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

- This is a four-hour course designed to help participants identify the many factors that may influence how people interact and respond to conflict. Self-reflection is a critical component of this training that aims to help participants identify characteristics of their own personalities and attitudes, in addition to any existing biases and stereotypes. Finally, participants will engage in identifying non-productive behaviors and in building skills that will help promote successful conflict resolution.

- A full refund may be given with twenty-one (21) calendar days prior to the event (less $35 processing fee).
- No refunds will be given less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the event.
- No refunds will be issued until original payment has cleared.
- $35.00 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations.
- As an alternative to cancellation, registration may be transferred from one person to another.
